want to make a short speech for my son's wedding. want a love story from hindu mythology. help please.

Try the story of the God of Love, Madan and his wife Rati. Or the story of Ram and Seeta. Or Lord Shiva and Parvathi Devi.Or if you are Tamil, the story of Andal and Sri Ranganathar. Or Lord Muruga and Valli Devi. Krishna and Radha too make a great story. In fact, the story of a Muslim princess who fell in love with Krishna and married Him would make a great story. Once, this Muslim King sacked a temple and gave the Icon of Sri Ranganathar to his daughter as a plaything. She grew attached to her 'plaything' and eventually fell in love with Krishna, hearing His exploits. When her father heard this, he grew angry with her and attempted to change her mind. She refused to do so and merged with Sri Ranganathar. Even today, there is a white gopuram or temple tower in SriRangam in South India and it is called Tuluka Natchiyar Gopuram. Tuluka denotes Islamic in the Tamil.Hope this helps and pls accept my congratulations on their wedding. May they have a happy and fruitful marriage that brings credit to society and land.

Simply use the love story of Krishna and Radha. That would make a classic and also Krishna was also a God of Love.

Insist on saying that the Christ was the rebirth of Krishna as both of them had more or less the same ideology.
